| The Partnership for Economic Development has positioned the County for regional and national corporate development in our promotional activities. We have welcomed investments from Wal-Mart, Kohl’s, Home Depot, Ideal Snacks, Crystal Run Healthcare and many others. Bethel Woods Center for the Arts is considered local investment driven, yet its investment and impact is equal to or betters large corporate attraction projects. The Partnership will look to identify and assist ancillary businesses now and in the future as we continue to use the strength of the region and work closely with economic development partners at home and in the region to market our comparative advantages and continue to make the case for external investment.
