@Woods Tech Retreat

A Catskills Retreat Built for the Future of Work

After years of encountering venues that were not well-suited for corporate tech conferences, strategy sessions, and team-building retreats, Jessica Rovello saw an opportunity to create something different in Sullivan County.

The result is @Woods Tech Retreat, a $31+ million project designed as a nature-based getaway for technology companies and corporate teams. Set on 128 acres, the project includes 50 cabins and seven camp-style gathering areas created to support collaboration, strategy, presentations, product development, and focused work in a natural Catskills setting.

Located just 90 minutes from New York City, @Woods is positioned to welcome tech industry professionals from across the country. The concept is built around a clear idea: breakthrough thinking often happens when teams step away from the distractions of the everyday workplace and gather in an environment designed for focus, creativity, and connection.

For Sullivan County, @Woods represents the kind of forward-looking investment that connects the region’s natural assets with the needs of modern business. It brings new visitors, new economic activity, and a new category of corporate retreat and innovation-focused hospitality to the Catskills.

The Partnership helped shepherd the project through the approval process, supporting the effort as it moved through challenges and toward realization. As @Woods takes shape, it stands as a strong example of how Sullivan County can attract projects that are both rooted in place and aligned with the future of work.
