Karen Fisher is president and co-owner of FisherMears Associates, a marketing communications firm with offices in Kenoza Lake and White Lake. Since 1995 her firm has been providing results-driven marketing communications programs for companies in financial services, tourism, non-profit, high-end real estate, healthcare, and others. Their clients— among others— include Orange Bank & Trust Company, The Sullivan Catskills Visitors Association, Chapin Estate, Construction Contractors Association, Villa Roma Resort and Conference Center, A Single Bite, and Sullivan 180.
Under Karen’s leadership, the firm has been honored for excellence in marketing by Medical Marketing & Media, The New York Governor’s Tourism Conference, American Graphics Design Guild, The Cable & Telecommunications Association, and the Hermes Creative Awards.
In 2017 she was the first woman in its history to be appointed to the board of directors at Jeff Bank. That year she was also honored as a Business and Professional Woman in Sullivan County. She received the Distinguished Service Award from the Sullivan County Partnership for Economic Development in 2011, and in 2010, she received a Business Impact Award from the Boys & Girls Club of the Town of Wallkill, Inc. where she currently serves on the board of directors.
Karen and Michael Fisher, her husband, live in Kenoza Lake with their two Mini Australian pups, Brook and Calli.
