Ryan Eller, president and chief executive officer of Empire Resorts, Inc., will be a featured speaker at this year’s Annual Meeting on October 5 at The Sullivan Event Center in Rock Hill, N.Y.
Mr. Eller, who is overseeing the development of Resorts World Catskills (set to open March 2018 in the Town of Thompson), has extensive experience in the design, development, and operation of many casinos and video gaming machine facilities, including the Monticello Casino & Raceway.
Before joining Empire, Mr. Eller served as senior vice president of development of Genting Americas, Inc., where he oversaw the design and development of the Resorts World Las Vegas integrated resort, a $4 billion project on the Las Vegas Strip. Concurrently with his position at Genting Americas, Inc., Mr. Eller, who was recently honored on the Global Gaming Business Magazine’s 2017 list of “25 People To Watch,” served in various executive officer positions with Genting New York LLC.
Mr. Eller has also served as executive vice president and chief financial officer of Choctaw Resort Development Enterprise, as treasurer and executive director of finance of PCI Gaming Authority, and as regional manager, planning and analysis at Caesars Entertainment, Inc.
Mr. Eller served in the United States Marine Corps from 1997 to 2004, where he attained the rank of major. He holds an MBA with honors from Harvard Business School and a bachelor’s degree with distinction from the U.S. Naval Academy.

Additionally, the Partnership will recognize Gary Silver, a partner with Billig, Loughlin & Silver, LLP and a member of the Partnership Board of Directors, as its Distinguished Service Award winner.
